Gary J. Stanziano, M.D.Senior Vice President of Women's and Children's Health Medical AffairsDr. Stanziano has served as Senior Vice President of Women's and Children's Health since June 2003 and as Vice President of Medical Affairs since the formation of the company through the merger of Healthdyne Maternity Management and Tokos Medical Corporation in March 1996. In both roles, Dr. Stanziano participates in product development providing the clinical backbone required for our programs and directs Matria quality initiatives. His global view of client needs and those of their participants are a result of frequent interactions with clients at sales presentations, outcomes results discussions and other activities. In addition, Dr. Stanziano has authored or co-authored over 100 publications and scientific presentations relating to management of pregnancy and its complications. Dr. Stanziano served as Vice President of Medical Affairs for Healthdyne Maternity Management since joining the company in September 1992 until March 1996. Prior to joining Healthdyne Maternity Management, Dr. Stanziano served as Associate Medical Director at Solvay Pharmaceuticals from July 1991 to September 1992, Clinical Research Manager at Health Images from January 1990 to June 1991, Medical Products Consultant at Needle and Rosenberg, P.C. from January 1989 to December 1989, Medical Researcher - Neurophysiology at Emory University School of Medicine from 1983 to 1984, a Bioengineer for the VA Medical Center at Emory University Clinic from 1981 to 1983, a Systems Engineer at Honeywell, Inc. from 1980 to 1981 and an Applications Engineer at Scientific Atlanta from 1978 to 1980. Dr. Stanziano earned a bachelor's degree in engineering in 1978 and a bachelor's degree in applied biology in 1983 from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in 1988. |
